Hello All,
I hope everyone had a beautiful New Year, and is gearing up for the long weekend. We had a beautiful trip back to Texas, and a splendid New Year. Both Aaron and I had come down with a bit of a cold, but all in all it was nice. We had a sitter and visited some old friends down in the Marina, and then watched too much football and ate yummy treats. :)
I have spent the last several weeks searching for a new place to call home, and finally landed a too cute town home in Agoura Hills. It is perfect, the outside area is bigger than our current place in Calabasas and we are directly across from a beautiful park.
Now that task is complete, it is time to find a job! Something I am looking forward to more than you would ever know. I have been searching for the perfect gig for the last year, and I have a feeling that 2010 is going to be a great year full of many rewards and a GREAT job!
I am a bit hesitant to land the big paying full time job, because I do love my special time with Konrad. Taking him to see all the city has to offer, going to classes, and lunch. I would feel so guilty to, out of the blue, send him off to day care 8 hours a day. The perfect job, would allow me to get out of the house and socialize with beautiful people, doing something that I could feel deeply about. It would pay enough to allow us to put Konrad in Daycare/Pre-school, a few days a week. Hmmmm... do you think I am asking too much? We shall see. Let's see if the power of positive thinking is on my side!
Books, I am very excited to embark on my next level of parenting books, Potty training and effective discipline. I have been recommended 1,2,3, Magic, I have place an order on Amazon, and am patiently waiting for it! :) I really feel that the whole discipline thing will be my biggest challenge as a parent, I am such a push over!
All in All I am hopeful, adn ready to get out there and find some boxes for the big move. I promise to be more diligent with my blog, I know big things are right around the corner!
